Research is not always confined to the limits of an article. In many cases, scholarly work takes a more comprehensive form, requiring space to explore arguments in depth, bring together large datasets, develop a sustained theoretical position, or present a full study that unfolds across chapters. E-books provide the structure and flexibility for these broader academic works. At VJ Research Hub, we offer researchers, scholars, and professionals the opportunity to publish original academic e-books under the same open-access principles that guide our journal content.

Our e-book publishing program is open to a wide range of submissions. We accept monographs, edited volumes, conference proceedings, instructional guides, scholarly reports, and thematic compilations. Whether the manuscript stems from a doctoral dissertation, an extended research project, a collaborative workshop series, or an independently developed theoretical text, we treat each submission with the same attention to editorial quality and scholarly integrity. The focus remains on originality, relevance, and academic contribution. Our goal is not just to add books to a catalog, but to support meaningful work that serves its field and community.

E-books published with VJ Research Hub are peer-reviewed, indexed, assigned DOIs, and hosted online in a user-friendly format. They are freely accessible to readers without subscription or access fees, aligning with our open-access mission. Readers can view books in-browser or download them for offline use. We format and structure the content to allow for ease of navigation, citation, and long-term use. Each book is published as a standalone academic work, with full author recognition and permanent archiving.

We welcome submissions from all disciplines, including but not limited to medicine, life sciences, engineering, humanities, social sciences, business, law, education, environmental studies, information science, and interdisciplinary fields. We also support publication of technical manuals, lab handbooks, and policy-oriented research where appropriate. The only requirement is that the submitted manuscript is scholarly in nature and meets the editorial standards expected of serious academic publishing.

Authors submitting e-books must follow a structured process. The manuscript should be submitted in a standard word processing format and organized into sections or chapters. A title page, author bio(s), table of contents, abstract, keywords, and introduction must be included. Each chapter should begin on a new page and be properly numbered. If the book has multiple contributors or is an edited volume, the editor should provide a preface or editorial note explaining the purpose of the compilation and the structure of the contributions. References must be included in each chapter or at the end of the book, following a consistent citation style. At VJ Research Hub, we accept APA referencing style and require authors to follow it uniformly throughout the manuscript.

Images, tables, figures, and diagrams are allowed and encouraged where relevant. These must be original or have appropriate permissions for reproduction. Authors must ensure that images are of high resolution and include captions and labels. If the manuscript contains sensitive data or identifiable personal information, especially in clinical or field-based research, authors must confirm that all necessary ethical approvals and consents have been secured. Our editorial team reviews this as part of the pre-review screening.

All e-books submitted to VJ Research Hub are reviewed prior to acceptance. Single-author works are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise. Edited volumes may be reviewed as a whole or evaluated in parts, depending on the structure and topic areas. We look for academic clarity, coherence, originality, consistency of structure, and relevance to the field. Reviewers provide feedback on both the strengths and areas that need revision, and authors are invited to revise accordingly. Only those manuscripts that meet our standards after peer review proceed to production.

Our editorial team assists with formatting and layout. Once a manuscript is accepted, it enters the production phase, where it is typeset, proofed, and converted into final e-book formats. We publish all books in PDF for universal compatibility, with options for HTML and EPUB where applicable. We also provide embedded bookmarks, linked tables of contents, and internal navigation aids to make reading easy across devices. Authors are sent page proofs prior to final publication and may request corrections at that stage.

We assign a unique DOI to every book and to each individual chapter (for edited volumes). This ensures that the work is easily citable and traceable across academic databases. The e-book is then listed on the VJ Research Hub platform, categorized by subject, and made available through open search. We also share metadata with indexing services and repositories to increase visibility and discoverability.

There is an article processing charge (APC) associated with e-book publishing. This fee covers peer review coordination, technical formatting, production, hosting, DOI assignment, archiving, and indexing. The fee is applied only after the manuscript is accepted following peer review. We aim to keep our charges fair and transparent and may offer flexible options for multi-author or institutional projects. Authors receive detailed information about APCs before any commitment to proceed.

Authors retain copyright of their work and may choose the open-access license under which their book is published. Most authors choose a Creative Commons license, which allows their work to be shared and reused with appropriate attribution. We support CC BY as our standard but can accommodate other licensing preferences within open-access guidelines. Our copyright policy ensures that authors maintain ownership while benefiting from global distribution.

We also provide reprint support for authors who wish to make print copies available for teaching, outreach, or institutional purposes. While our primary model is digital, we can assist with preparing print-ready files and coordinating physical copies upon request. These are handled separately from the online publication process and are priced based on quantity and delivery destination.

VJ Research Hub values transparency and accountability in all stages of publishing. Our e-book review process is documented and trackable. Authors are informed of review decisions, timelines, and production milestones. We do not fast-track or bypass review, and we do not accept manuscripts based solely on author funding. Every e-book we publish must meet the same standards of academic credibility, ethical practice, and relevance to the intended audience.
