The Journal of Electronics, Embedded Systems and Communication Technologies invites submissions of original, high-quality manuscripts that align with the journal’s focus on advanced electronics, embedded design, and communication technologies. Authors must ensure that their work adheres to the following guidelines prior to submission. Manuscripts that fail to meet these criteria may be returned for revision before peer review.
General Requirements
All manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English. Submissions should be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Any instance of plagiarism, data manipulation, or unethical research conduct will result in immediate rejection. Authors are responsible for ensuring the technical accuracy and ethical soundness of their work.
Manuscript Types Accepted
• Original Research Articles
• Review Articles
• Short Communications
• Case Studies or Technical Reports
• Methodological Papers
• Invited Editorials or Commentaries
Manuscript Formatting
Submissions should be prepared in Microsoft Word format, using Times New Roman (12-point font), double-spaced, with 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins. Pages should be numbered consecutively. The manuscript must follow a clear structure with appropriate section headings and subheadings.
Title Page
• Full title of the manuscript
• Names and affiliations of all contributing authors
• Corresponding author’s full contact details (including email)
• ORCID iDs (if available)
• Short running title (maximum 50 characters)
Abstract and Keywords
• Abstract: 200–300 words summarizing the objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions. Structured abstracts are recommended when applicable.
• Keywords: 4 to 6 keywords placed below the abstract, reflecting key technical themes.
Main Text Structure
For Original Research Articles, authors should follow the IMRaD format:
• Introduction: Describe the background, relevance, and objectives of the study.
• Materials and Methods: Provide detailed information on experimental design, hardware/software platforms, electronic configurations, or protocols used.
• Results: Present findings using tables, figures, or graphs as needed.
• Discussion: Interpret results, relate them to prior research, and explain technological implications.
• Conclusion: Summarize key takeaways and potential practical applications.
Review Articles should provide in-depth analysis of current trends, system architectures, or evolving technologies in embedded systems, electronic design, or communication protocols. Systematic reviews must adhere to relevant reporting standards.
Case Studies or Technical Reports should describe real-world implementations, embedded applications, or network system deployments, highlighting engineering decisions, constraints, and outcomes.
Tables and Figures
• All figures and tables must be numbered sequentially and cited within the text.
• Each should have a clear title or caption explaining its content.
• Images must be high-resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
• Avoid redundancy between text and graphical elements.
References
The journal follows APA style. In-text citations must correspond to complete references in the bibliography. Use the author–date citation format consistently throughout the manuscript.
Ethical Considerations
For studies involving user data, real-time systems, or embedded deployments in live environments, authors must provide ethical approval documentation where applicable. Consent statements are required for any work involving human interaction. Research must comply with institutional or national ethical standards.
Conflict of Interest
Authors must declare any financial or personal relationships that could influence the interpretation or reporting of their research. A statement is required, even if no conflict exists.
Funding Statement
All financial support must be disclosed, including the names of funding bodies and grant numbers, if applicable.
Acknowledgments
Optional acknowledgments may be included to recognize technical collaborators, institutional resources, or non-author contributors.
Authorship Criteria
All listed authors should have made substantial contributions to the conceptualization, design, execution, or interpretation of the research. The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal and coordination during the peer review and proofing process.
Submission Process
Manuscripts must be submitted via the journal’s online portal or through the designated editorial email. Ensure that the following components are included:
• Title page
• Main document
• Figures and tables (if applicable)
• Supplementary materials (if any)
Peer Review Process
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts. Authors may be asked to revise their work based on reviewers’ feedback. The editorial board ensures that the review process is objective, timely, and constructive.
Copyright and Licensing
This is an open-access journal. Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the publisher the right to publish under a Creative Commons license. All accepted articles are freely accessible upon publication.
Proofs and Corrections
Page proofs will be shared with the corresponding author prior to publication. Authors are expected to check for formatting and typographical errors only. Substantive changes will not be allowed at this stage.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
An Article Processing Charge (APC) applies only to accepted manuscripts. This fee covers editorial handling, peer review administration, production, indexing, and long-term archiving. Submission is free of charge. Invoices are issued only after final acceptance.
