Author Guidelines

The Journal of Medicine, Clinical Practice and Health Care Systems welcomes original, high-quality manuscripts that fall within the journal’s scope. To maintain consistency, transparency, and international standards in scholarly publishing, authors are requested to carefully review the following guidelines before submitting their work. Submission is free of charge, and article processing charges apply only after acceptance.

1. Manuscript Categories

Authors may submit manuscripts in the following categories:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses
  • Clinical Case Reports
  • Short Communications
  • Perspective or Opinion Pieces
  • Practice Protocols or Technical Notes

All submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished work and not under consideration by any other journal.

2. Formatting Requirements

Manuscripts should be written in clear English and submitted in Microsoft Word format. The document must be typed in 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins. Pages should be numbered consecutively.

A standard manuscript should include the following sections:

  • Title Page (with author details and affiliations)
  • Abstract (maximum 250 words)
  • Keywords (3–6 terms)
  • Introduction
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgments (if any)
  • Conflict of Interest Statement
  • References

3. Abstract and Keywords

The abstract must be concise, accurate, and provide a clear overview of the research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Avoid citations in the abstract. Authors must provide 3 to 6 relevant keywords to assist in indexing and searchability.

4. References

Authors are encouraged to follow the Vancouver referencing style. All references should be cited in the text by superscript numbers in the order of appearance and listed numerically at the end of the manuscript. Include all necessary details such as author names, article title, journal name, year, volume, and page numbers.

5. Tables and Figures

Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and placed at the end of the manuscript or embedded within the text at appropriate locations. Each table and figure must have a descriptive title or caption. Figures should be submitted in high-resolution formats (JPEG, PNG, or TIFF).

6. Ethical Considerations

All research involving human participants or animals must adhere to ethical standards and be approved by the relevant institutional review board or ethics committee. Authors must include an ethics statement in their manuscript and confirm that informed consent was obtained where applicable.

7. Plagiarism and Originality

Manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism. All submissions are checked using reliable plagiarism detection tools. Any form of duplicate publication, fabrication, or unethical behavior will result in immediate rejection.

8. Authorship and Contributions

Only individuals who have made a substantial contribution to the research and manuscript preparation should be listed as authors. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all listed authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript.

9. Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process conducted by at least two subject experts. The editorial board may request revisions based on reviewer comments. Final acceptance is subject to the editor’s discretion.

10. Copyright and Licensing

Upon acceptance, authors are required to sign a copyright agreement. Published articles will be made available under an open-access license, allowing unrestricted access and distribution with appropriate attribution to the authors.

11. Article Processing Charges (APC)

There is no fee for submission or initial review. APCs apply only after a manuscript is accepted for publication. The fee supports editorial management, peer review, digital archiving, and open access dissemination. Details of the charges will be communicated upon acceptance.

12. Submission Procedure

Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s online submission system or by email as instructed on the journal’s website. Authors will receive a confirmation upon successful submission.

For questions regarding submission, formatting, or journal policies, authors are encouraged to contact the editorial office.
